Transfer calls came this morning and...... drum roll please....
...SISTER YOO AND I WILL BE STAYING IN DUNSAN TOGETHER!
Like any good trainer, since the very beginning I've been telling her that I would be transferring just to make sure she didn't get too comfortable... hahaha... but looks like God has other plans. I think she's super relieved! But I honestly am grateful for the opportunity to keep serving here with her. I love this place!! And we're expecting great things in the upcoming transfer!
Anywho, this last week we were able to visit quite a few less active members for the first time! It was seriously a series of curious events and miracles that led us to their homes, as previously I wasn't even aware of them! As we met with them we felt compelled to share Elder Uchtdorf's message from Sunday morning conference in April. I actually only heard the talk a couple times in Korean, but had the opportunity to read it for the first time last week in English! (Boy, what a difference it makes hearing things in the language of your heart!)
Many of you and probably familiar with the message he shared--one about hope and the eternal love of God and our Savior! No matter how low, no matter how far gone, no matter how hopeless we feel at some times in our lives, He, as the Good Shepherd, will rescue us! I just love this message and have read it at least five times this last week. I've witnessed the truth of this in my own life, as well as witnessed it in the lives of others during my time as a missionary. I testify of the ever reaching and ever loving arms of the Savior forever extending to each and everyone of us!
Below, my mom will insert a link to this wonderful talk. I would encourage each and everyone of you to take some time this week to read it for the first time, or maybe even the second, third, fourth, or fifth...
