The weeks are starting to go by faster and faster! It's crazy to think I've spent as much time here in Korea as I did in the MTC... it feels like a lifetime ago! Man.
Anywho, yesterday our investigator 유윤아 and her sister were baptized! It was truly an incredible experience being able to teach her (the other sisters taught her older sister). 윤아 was always so eager to ask questions and learn about the gospel! She also remembered everything we would teach her! Such an awesome little girl (she's ten in Korean age... so maybe about 9?). Yesterday she was beaming! My companion and I have come to love her dearly.
We also started meeting with another investigator, who is the younger sister of a recent convert (he was baptized last month). She's in high school and is super shy... but I really like her. Luckily I've gotten to the point where I know enough Korean to carry a on conversation. Hahaha. Yesterday she came to church for the second time and we were able to give her a good introduction to the Book of Mormon!
Of all things, I am filled with overwhelming gratitude this week! I am so grateful to be serving in Korean (and more specifically 첨단 Ward), serving these people, and also serving with such awesome missionaries! God really knows what He's doing... I know He has a purpose for everything--the ups and the downs! As 2 Nephi 2:25 says, "But behold, all things have been done in the wisdom of him who knoweth all things." This life is not easy... and this week I'm learning especially well that missionary work is not easy either! But so long as we trust and exercise faith in Christ, we can gain understanding, peace, and purpose as we go throughout our lives. I know this, without a doubt, to be true!
Take care! Love you all!
