This was an incredible week! During several of the visits/lessons this week I felt the strong influence of the spirit! One of the times was during our recent convert lesson with 왕지현 자매님, where we reviewed the Doctrine of Christ. We discussed a lot about the Holy Ghost, because she was wondering how she could recognize the answers that God gives her in her life. This is perhaps one of the most important questions a person can have. It was an awesome lesson as we discussed and shared experiences with one another! I am so blessed to have helped bring more light into her life! The gospel is a wonderful thing!
Another instance of feeling incredible spirit was when we met with an newer investigator, 한인숙 자매님, where we discussed the restoration. The lesson was definitely led by the spirit... and so much different than some other lessons I've taught because it was more of a discussion. The sister is one who is sincerely seeking for truth in her life. She says she's not so much looking to convert religions, so much as find ways to improve herself, come closer to Christ, and find more truth. We taught her a lot from the Book of Mormon, especially in supporting various truths she has come to discover and treasure in her own life. I sincerely pray that as she continues to read the Book of Mormon and learn about Christ's gospel, she will grow a desire to follow Him throughout her life.
The third instance I would like to share is Saturday when 김은진 자매님 received baptism. It's not been easy teaching and preparing her for that moment, but on Saturday the spirit confirmed to me strongly that it was the right time. As her mom bore her testimony, she talked a lot about the gospel's potential to change others. I realized I had witnessed this change. I have watched 김은진 자매님 change over the course of the last couple months. She has become sweeter, more obedient, and more full of light. It brought me joy as I was filled with God's love for His little daughter.
This week marks the halfway point for me in my mission. Boy has time flown by!! In reflecting over the last nine months, I've had so many moments this week that have confirmed to me part of my purpose in serving here in Cheomdan. I am so blessed. I love these people so much! And will be forever changed. Whatever this next transfer brings, I look forward to witnessing even more miracle as I labor in the Lord's field.
Love ya'll so much!
