This weekend was awesome... over the course of three days we found three new investigators! God is good. Seriously! We've been praying and fasting for the last transfer and a half, and the blessings just kind of all came at once I guess. Pretty incredible! All three were introduced by church members--and all three seem prepared to be ready to embrace the Gospel in their lives. I'm excited for the changes they will experience as they continue to grow closer to Christ!
Also, yesterday was also the Ward Primary Program! Lots of fun. I love how no matter where you go in the world, you can always expect the church to be the same--in organization, in truths taught, programs, etc. I've always realized that you can probably expect that no matter where you go, during the primary program there is always that one child who stands and sings out so much louder than the rest. Seeing all those kids singing and testifying of the simple truths of the gospel brought me so much joy. Also, Korean kids are unbelievably adorable.
This week we had Zone Conference! One of my favorite messages shared was a comparison between 1 Nephi 3:7 and 17:3! There are basically two parts in those scriptures-: 1)God's commandments and 2) the things God commands. I've always thought they are the same, but really they are quite different! The commands are laws that we must keep, and they require obedience. As we keep God's commandments He blesses us and gives us power and blessings. These things can in turn help us to accomplish the things God commands (specific callings, directions, etc.). I know that this is true! I have witnessed this in my own life as a missionary. Obedience brings blessings, people. :)
Love you all! I look forward to sending you beautiful pictures next time of our mission hike next Monday!
Have an incredible week!
