It's amazing how fast time passes when you aren't focused on it! Wow, it seems like just yesterday was Pday for me... this last week has brought A SLEIGHLOAD of crazy experiences... seems like they always come in clusters! Lots of adventures while exploring our area and random experiences with strangers. I've realized the area is HUGE! What's even crazier is that we help out the other set of Elders serving in Samsung area (which is where the mission home and office are). But again I'm so grateful for Sister McQueen... we face each new day together with a smile! haha. I realize again and again that missionary work truly does bring JOY!
This week we had another combined district meeting! They are always a spiritual power boost!! I've come to love them so much. This time President Shin wanted to get a gauge for our teaching abilities, so we had to roleplay teaching a principle with him one-on-one during our interviews. I've got to admit I was pretty nervous, but President is the sweetest man ever! I taught about faith, which I've actually come to learn a lot about this last week! It's pretty cool how repeatedly during lessons and also my personal studies this subject stood out.
Exercising faith is essential in the development of our testimonies! We teach about it so simply all the time to investigators, and yet my understanding of it continues to grow. For me, I've been learning the importance of exercising faith under the influence of the spirit. It can be kind of scary to be bold at times like that, but as we boldly follow the influence of the spirit, all will be okay. :)
My favorite scripture this last week has been one that my companion shared with me-- "And not many days hence the Son of God shall come in his glory; and his glory shall be the glory of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace, equity, and truth, full of patience, mercy, and long-suffering, quick to hear the cries of his people and to answer their prayers."
Love you all; have an awesome week!
